How accurate is the OCR on low-quality scans?

The engine applies automatic image enhancement before recognition. Scans at 150 DPI or higher typically yield excellent results; very low-resolution images may require a rescan for best accuracy.

Does OCR overwrite my original PDF?

No. Your original file is never modified. OCR Pro generates a new file with the text layer added, so you always have the option to keep both versions.

How many pages can I process at once?

Free users can process up to 10 pages per session. Premium plans support batch processing of hundreds of pages in a single upload.

Is my document content kept private?

Yes. Files are transferred over 256-bit SSL encryption and permanently deleted from our servers as soon as your download is ready. We never read or store document content.
