KVKK Disclosure Notice

Pursuant to Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed

  • Identity (name, username — if registered)
  • Contact (e-mail, IP)
  • Transaction security (logs, cookies)
  • User content (uploaded files — short-lived, deleted after processing)
  • Payment data (via PayTR; card data is not stored by us)

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Providing the requested conversion/processing service
  • Account & quota management
  • Security, abuse detection, fraud prevention
  • Legal obligations (invoicing, tax)
  • Statistics & service improvement (anonymous/aggregate)

4. Legal Basis (KVKK Art. 5)

  • Necessity for the conclusion/performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
  • Legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
  • Legitimate interest — without harming fundamental rights (Art. 5/2-f)
  • Explicit consent (for optional uses like marketing, Art. 5/1)

5. Transfers (Domestic / International)

Shared with our service providers (hosting, e-mail, payment, AI) on a need-to-know basis. International transfers comply with KVKK Art. 9, using adequate-protection countries or standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

  • Uploaded files: deleted within 24 hours after processing (usually immediately).
  • Account record: while the account is active + 1 year.
  • Invoices/tax docs: 10 years (TCC Art. 82, TPL Art. 253).
  • Security logs: 2 years.

7. Data Subject Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

  • Learn whether personal data is being processed
  • Request information if processed
  • Learn the purpose and whether used accordingly
  • Know third parties to whom data is transferred
  • Request rectification of incomplete/inaccurate data
  • Request erasure under KVKK Art. 7
  • Request notification of these operations to third parties
  • Object to outcomes against you from solely automated analysis
  • Request compensation for damages from unlawful processing

8. Application Channels

Applications are concluded within 30 days as per KVKK Art. 13.
