Does redaction work with OCR on scanned PDFs?

No. The tool only works on text-based PDFs; if you upload a scanned document, you must first use a separate OCR tool. There is no built-in OCR support.

Can I upload a password-protected PDF?

No, there is no password/passcode input field.
