Does every PDF have a version history?

No. Version layers only exist in PDFs that were saved using incremental updates, which preserve prior content on each save. PDFs generated fresh from an application in one pass typically have no revision history.

Will flattening change how the document looks?

No. Flattening removes only historical layers; the current, visible content of the document is preserved exactly. Because this action is irreversible, we recommend keeping a copy of the original.

Can deleted text reappear when I inspect old layers?

Yes, this is one of the most common findings. Text that was deleted or covered by a white box in a later revision may still be fully readable in an earlier layer, which is why this check matters before sharing documents.

How is my file kept private?

Files are uploaded over encrypted connections and permanently deleted from our infrastructure once your download is complete. No one at KolayDönüştür accesses your document content.

What is the maximum file size supported?

Free users can analyse files up to 25 MB. For larger enterprise documents, our premium plans remove this restriction.

Does flattening reduce the file size?

In most cases, yes. Removing accumulated revision layers can significantly reduce file size, making the document easier to email and store.
