Will bookmarks I create work in Adobe Reader and browser PDF viewers?

Yes. The tool uses the standard PDF bookmark specification, which is supported by Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat, Foxit, the Chrome PDF viewer, and virtually all other PDF readers.

Can I create nested bookmarks with sub-entries?

Yes. Drag any bookmark on top of another to make it a child entry. You can create as many nesting levels as needed to match your document's chapter and section structure.

Is it safe to upload confidential documents?

Yes. All transfers use 256-bit SSL encryption, and your file is deleted from our servers immediately after your download completes. We never access your document content.

How many bookmarks can I add per document?

Free accounts support up to 100 bookmarks per document. Premium plans remove this limit for large technical or legal publications.

Can I edit existing bookmarks without deleting them first?

Yes. The editor loads all existing bookmarks as-is, and you can modify only the entries you want to change, leaving the rest intact.

Does this work on mobile devices?
