Which public holidays are included in the calculation?

Fixed national holidays such as New Year's Day, April 23, May 1, May 19, July 15, August 30 and October 29, plus the religious Ramadan and Sacrifice (Eid) holidays, are defined for 2024-2027. Any holidays that fall inside your range are also shown as a detailed list in the results.

Why are the religious holiday dates marked as approximate?

Ramadan and Eid al-Adha follow the lunar Hijri calendar, so they shift each year and are entered as approximate dates in this tool. For confirmed dates, check the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) calendar or the official gazette.

These buttons pin the start date to today and push the end date forward to fill the range automatically, so you can calculate without typing dates manually. You can still adjust either date afterward.

In date-range mode the 'Copy Results' button copies the start, end, total days, business days, weekends, and public holidays as plain text you can paste into an email or document. There's also a swap button between the date fields to quickly reverse the start and end dates.

Are the results reliable enough for legal or official deadline tracking on their own?

Accepted Answer

No, the results are for informational purposes only; the official holiday calendar is updated each year by government decree and religious holiday dates can change. For binding matters such as court deadlines, tenders, taxes or contracts, confirm the current regulations and consult a professional before acting.
