Which criteria are included by default?

Six criteria are preloaded: Price Competitiveness, Product Quality, Delivery Time, Reliability, Communication & Support, and Payment Terms. You can adjust each one's weight from 1 to 5 with a slider to match your own priorities.

What is the difference between criterion weight and supplier score?

The weight (1-5) defines how important a criterion is to you and affects every supplier. The score (1-10) is a single supplier's performance on that criterion, set individually per supplier in the detail panel.

How do I edit a supplier's individual criterion scores?

Click the supplier in the ranking list to open its detail panel, where each criterion has a 1-10 slider. As you adjust the scores, the weighted average and ranking update instantly.

How do I add my own suppliers, and are the three starters required?

Use the '+ Add Supplier' button at the bottom to add a new row; it starts every criterion at a default score of 7, and you can rename it in the detail panel. The sample Alpha/Beta/Gamma suppliers can be removed with the ✕ on each row.

What do the colors and medals next to the scores mean?

A weighted average of 8 or higher is green, 6-8 is yellow, and below 6 is red; the top three rows get 🥇🥈🥉 medals. These colors are just a quick visual cue—the ranking itself is based on the exact average value.

What happens if I leave a criterion unscored?

Any criterion left blank is treated as a default of 5 (middle) in the calculation, so missing data won't break the ranking. For an accurate comparison it's best to score every criterion yourself.

Is the tool's 'Recommended Supplier' result binding?

No—the result is an informational decision-support output based entirely on the scores and weights you enter. Before finalizing a supplier, confirm contract terms, references, and financial standing through your own due diligence or an expert.
